Lori tells her parents and siblings that she is unfortunately not going to come home for Christmas, since she has exams and a tournament coming up and figures it would be too much of a hassle to drive home and back in so few days, much to Lincoln's dismay. Luna then mentions that she's been invited to go skiing with her girlfriend Sam and her family, and Luan is hosting a comedy gig at the Sunset Canyon retirement home. Rita and Lynn Sr. then decide that, since three of their daughters are going to be away, they and the rest of the kids should take a trip to Miami, Florida.

Although understanding where he's coming from, Lynn Sr. tells his son that in their current situation, they need to try and make the most of what they can. In a last-ditch effort to appeal to his family, he reveals that the package he got earlier was a 13-person toboggan so they can slide down the hill at Tall Timbers Park together. Because of that, along with the fact that there's no snow, the family tells him that they can fulfill those plans next year, and make it official that they're going to Miami this Christmas. The next morning, the Loud family is opening their presents, while Lincoln explains the aftermath for the viewers.

When this special was announced, it was also confirmed that a second season of The Casagrandes has been greenlit. Of the main cast, Dora Dolphin, Morgan McGill, Charlotte Ann Tucker, Lainey Jane Knowles, and Muretta Moss didn’t reprise their roles for The Really Loud House. As Rita goes to pick up a stranded Lori and Bobby, Lincoln tries to call Katherine Mulligan and tell her that the creature isn't real, but she believes that he's pranking her. So, he and Clyde pilot the Sharkodile down Franklin Avenue where they drag some of the Loud House's decorations. The success of the film caused Nickelodeon to make it the Pilot Movie for The Really Loud House, a live-action series that premiered on November 2022 with most of the film's leads reprising their roles. Lincoln Loud is the only boy and the middle child in a family of eleven children residing in the fictional town of Royal Woods, Michigan.
